Lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Master Enterprises founder Ron L. Orr knew that one day he wanted, not only to be a business owner, but to leave a successful one for future Orr generations. In the early 1980s, Ron recognized a need for quality material supply and distribution, especially air filters for HVAC systems.

Determined to answer that demand and achieve his dream of entrepreneurship, Ron founded Master Filter Corporation, dba Master Enterprises, in 1984 as a minority business enterprise specializing in material supply. Today, Ron is joined by his son Darrin and grandson Bryce in expanding the company vision even further, adding workplace wellness product solutions to their flourishing wholesale material supply business.

Chandra D. Orr, the eldest of five, grew up in Flint, Michigan, where she developed resilience, determination, and a passion for helping others push beyond their limits. After moving to Atlanta in the 1990s, she had the amazing honor of performing in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games. Now based in Indianapolis with her husband, Darrin, she is a proud mother of three—India, Bryce, and Elle—and a devoted grandmother to three grandsons, Israel, Jeremiah, and Kayson.

A dynamic leader and community advocate, Chandra serves as Secretary of the Oxford Neighborhood Association, Lead Media Communicator for IBE’s Classic Parade, and a special events volunteer at the East 38th Street Public Library. She co-founded Galore, an executive accountability group, and has held key leadership roles as a board member for KIPP:Indy Schools and Board President of Pathway Resource Center.

Chandra brings the same passion for leadership to her professional life. A graduate of the Mutz Philanthropic Leadership Institute and a Six Sigma Green Belt holder, she is dedicated to driving excellence and innovation. With a Master’s in Human Resources and a Bachelor’s in Business, she combines strategic vision with strong relationship-building skills. As Chief Relationship Officer at Master Enterprises, Chandra forges meaningful partnerships and creates opportunities for lasting impact.

India Orr is the kind of person who makes every interaction smooth and stress-free. As the Office Manager at Master Enterprises, she combines warmth, efficiency, and problem-solving to create a seamless experience for clients and vendors.

With a background in healthcare and community service, India knows how to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and keep operations running effortlessly. A graduate of Ivy Tech and a former Certified Nursing Assistant, she thrives in fast-paced environments where attention to detail and organization are key. Now, she brings those same skills to Master Enterprises, ensuring every client and vendor feels valued and supported.

Beyond work, India has a passion for travel, exploring new cultures, and embracing new experiences. Whether hiking scenic trails or discovering hidden gems, she believes stepping outside of one’s comfort zone leads to personal growth and deeper connections—values she applies daily in her role.

Darrin L. Orr is a builder—of businesses, communities, and legacies. Before leading Master Enterprises, he spent over a decade in the audio-visual electronics industry, driving market growth and collaborating with engineers across Europe and Asia to bring cutting-edge display technology to life. He managed multi-state sales territories, launched new distribution channels, and shaped global strategies that generated millions in revenue.

Despite his corporate success, Darrin knew his greatest impact would be closer to home. With gratitude for the foundation his father, Ron L. Orr, built over 40 years ago, Darrin returned to Indianapolis to help evolve Master Enterprises. Together, they transformed a traditional HVAC filter business into a leader in wholesale material supply and workplace wellness solutions. Merging his corporate expertise with a shared vision, Darrin modernized systems & operations, refined branding, and expanded the company’s reach while preserving its core values.

Bryce D. Orr is driving Master Enterprises forward with bold leadership and fresh ideas while honoring the legacy built by his grandfather, Ron, and father, Darrin. A 2022 Purdue graduate in Supply Chain Management, he quickly made an impact—streamlining logistics and enhancing quality control. His ability to merge tradition with modern strategy is helping to shape the company’s future.

A driven leader, Bryce earned his degree in just 3.5 years while immersing himself in campus organizations. He served as VP of Operations for the Black Data Processing Associates, Treasurer for the American Marketing Association, and was actively involved in the Black Student Union, LatinX Student Union, and the Society of Minority Managers, Business Opportunity Program. His curiosity for global business led him to Florence, Italy, where he studied international supply chains—while fully embracing Italy’s incredible food scene.

Beyond business, Bryce is passionate about mentorship and community impact. He champions Winning Experiences, a nonprofit focused on civic engagement, education, and cultural immersion. Bryce believes in exposing students to real-world leadership, historical lessons, a learning lifestyle, and global experiences—values that shaped his own path. As a student ambassador for KIPP:INDY, he also encouraged students to pursue higher education and new opportunities.

Now, as the third generation in his family to lead Master Enterprises, Bryce works alongside his father, Darrin, his mother, Chandra, and his sister, India, making it a true family-driven operation. With a passion for progress and a drive to push boundaries, he isn’t just continuing the company’s success—he’s helping take it to the next level.
